…The main concept of the pavilion is transformation from landscape to pavilion. The pavilion gradually rises from the ground and creates different exhibition and gathering spaces. With first step creates an area with bench for sitting, within the next a desk for workshops and finally with last step, it transforms into the roof. All steps are designed in one broken line where each line is pointed in different direction…
…Because of the small area of pavilion and connection with the landscape, we didn’t want to make it as close box, but rather as open space – gallery, which invites people to come in and discuss about artwork. The strong connection between pavilion and nature is ensured…
…The pavilion is designed without underground foundations, which makes the pavillon mobile. Main construction is designed from steel and covered with fibercement panels in white colour, inspired by the idyllic Russian winter landscape…
